 20 August 2004

Well, as you might have heard last week, we made our
'big' announcement regarding the show.

September 28 will be our final episode.
We'll have something  coming soon in regards to our
thoughts/feeling, etc......

With only a few shows remaining, there is a chance to finally
air a few long planned specials.  Also look for another
'guest dj' spot from our special friend Michelle.

There will also be a final "Indie Shop Sampler" that we'll share.
Keep clued in here for info on its availability. Also get in touch
if you have some thoughts on favorites or others that should be added.

66 hours of music bliss!

 27 July 2004

Back tonight with lots of new music. Both
Spearmint and
Louis Eliot (formerly of Rialto) released new cds this week,
both of which we have. In fact, we may even be giving a copy
of the Spearmint cd to one lucky listener....also have new
Interpol,
Libertines, Ken Stringfellow, Saybia, Morrissey and more.

Among the new releases, or at one that's pending...Seems
William Shatner has decided to get into the horror genre. Listen
for his cover of
Pulp's 'Common People'......

Yes, be scared.....be very scared
.

250 and counting.......

This coming week we celebrate a special moment in the show's history.....
Show # 250!!!!!! Hard to believe we've come this far, and ALL thanks to the
amazing people who have supported the show in one way or another.
I can say there is sincere gratitude here..

So that in mind, we'll be broadcasting one of the very first Indie Shop's.
on Tuesday, July 6 you'll be able to hear what we sounded like when it all
started.

It's kinda scary actually................

The Veils....overboard?

If you had a chance to listen in last week you would have heard
us play The Veils' debut The Runaway Found in its entirety. Simply
can't say enough about this band, their grandeur and majesty....
and all from a debut. Having had the chance to listen to it several
times recently, I've been dismayed by the lack of recognition
for such an amazing release....thus we decided to bring it to you as
such, so that those who might have missed it can enjoy.

It was a great pleasure having Michelle in as guest dj last week.
Sadly her web site  lost it's host earlier in the day. While she's
still frantically searching for a solution,  rest assured she'll be
up soon. Keep checking back at
http://www.boltofblue.net/michelle.

In  the meantime we're half way through the year and back with
live programming. Listen in for new music from Belle & Sebastians'
new single, Radio 4, Mull Historical Society, Old 97's, The Open,
The Polyphonic Spree.

To top it all off will be a few thoughts on our favorite album thus far....
